"The check-in process was frustrating. The hotel’s payment system did not accept international Apple Pay, despite it being widely accepted at the airport and even within the hotel’s own café. This resulted in multiple unnecessary transactions and delays after a long journey.
More concerning was the persistent noise disturbance. There were loud birthday parties with DJ music that carried straight through the walls into the room. I was unwell during the stay and had to make repeated calls to the front desk to address the issue. While the duty manager was responsive, the matter was never meaningfully resolved, and there was no follow-up from senior management despite a request to escalate to the General Manager.
This lack of ownership and guest care stands in stark contrast to industry standard for five star properties.
I will consider giving this property one more chance, but this experience has certainly impacted my perception of the Hyatt brand as a loyal customer."
