Perfect for Fly Fishing
We stayed for five days and four nights and everything was perfect. The house and property provided a perfect balance between seclusion and proximity to town. Our favorite parts were being able to have campfires near the river while watching stunning sunsets along with direct access to the river for great kayak fly fishing.

Pictures don't do this property justice. It's simply beautiful and such a serene setting. It was perfect for our group of 6. Even though the weather didn't cooperate for fishing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Travelers just beware, if you're arriving at nighttime and using GPS, Waze took us to a spot across the river. Once we switched to Google Maps, it brought us to the gravel road and the turnoffs which were very accurately described in final confirmation email. Thank you for a lovely weekend, Angela, in your lovely slice of paradise :)

Great find on VRBO - my family enjoyed the quiet, remote location for a long weekend getaway. House was very clean, pellet stove kept us toasty warm, and the kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking. Owner was very responsive with all communications - prior to travel and during our stay. Great family vacation!

The ideal October cabin experience
We went in hoping for a long weekend in a cozy cabin in upstate NY to enjoy fall festivities and this place did not disappoint. From the pellet stove to the all-clad kitchen, I could see myself coming back year after year. Could not have asked for a better experience.

What a View!
We had a wonderful stay in this home right on the river! The vista through the big windows was amazing. Even though it rained, we could still enjoy the view and the cozy atmosphere in the room with a pellet stove and view. We didn’t catch anything but the experience was awesome. The home was stocked with everything we needed for a perfect stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Peaceful Beaverkill cottage and fishing getaway
We had a wonderful relaxing 4 nights at East Branch. The host was welcoming and answered any questions immediately. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Comfortable sleeping and great outdoor seating choices. Lovely large stone patio, deck off the house as well as seating near the river. Easy fly fishing at the shore or wade in, with the right equipment. Many other great public spots to fish just down the road. Many beautiful mature tress on the property. Very private location. We saw eagles, woodpeckers and deer. Highly recommend - we will return.

The house is well maintained and Angela was an excellent host. Access to the Beaverkill for fishing was perfect, just wish the weather cooperated a little better. My only suggestion would be a TV for the main living room. Going upstairs to watch TV while trying to tend to dinnet etc. Is a bit inconvenient. Overall it was a great trip and we will be booking again for next year.

The view of the back yard and river thru the ceiling high windows was our favorite thing. Extremely well appointed and very clean. Pellet stove was quirky but loved it after we figured out how to restart it. Deer came thru the yard almost every day. Angela was great at resolving issues.

Wonderful Stay
This home was just what we were looking for. Privacy and calm. The home was clean and welcoming. The yard was AMAZING right one the river. While we were there we had an inspiring experience of a bald eagle 15 feet away! There is a great fishing spot right up the road. We did some hiking nearby and enjoyed chilling by the fire-it at night. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to feel at peace with nature with all of the comforts of home. The host was easy to communicate with and we are grateful for our time in their home.

My husband and I met up at this location with my two boys who are way in college. It was perfect! We had a great time spending time with my boys. We took advantage of the kayak, the canoe and the floater and we attempted fishing lol. I do recommend the use of water shoes as there are a lot of slippery rocks. We made s’mores and enjoyed drinks and conversations by the fire while enjoying the views of the river. The house was fully stocked. I forgot a couple of things but Angela had everything I forgot. The house was a short drive to some hiking trails. And I personally loved having my morning coffee in the covered porch while watching the hummingbirds feeding on the rose of Sharon that was in full bloom. Thank you Angela for the memories at your place!

Exactly what we were looking for
This place met everything that we hoped for in a family vacation. Secluded and relaxing, we spent the days in the river and taking nature walks. All the amenities of home without any of the work. Kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals and ample table space for board games in case it rains. We also enjoyed a short drive to a local brewery one afternoon. Looking forward to coming back to this space even as our family grows!

Perfect Retreat With Newborn
My wife gave birth 1 month before our visit. This location was great place to unwind and get to know our new child. The house and property was clean and new with plenty of space. Our older child loved playing in the river and on the big lawn. Also, Angela the property owner did a great job being responsive and helpful with questions.

This is an amazing property. Everything is clean and well stacked. In the kitchen and bathrooms you will find all essentials. Angela is a fantastic host. Super easy check in and check out. The ideal escape!
My husband and I were joined by our nephew and his wife for a very short visit to New York. They are avid fly fishers and the house's location is perfect with access to the Beaverkill. The house itself is well appointed and stock with a good selection of dishes and pots and pans. The property is amazing and we just wish that it had been a bit warmer so that we could kayak and canoe with the provided boats. Angela is an excellent manager and answered questions immediately. I do hope to return to this lovely haven on the water!

This beautiful property was all we expected and more!! Steps away from storied trout water with all the amenities you could ask for. Eagle watching in the evening was a wonderful surprise. Will be booking again to share this spot with family and friends.

What a beautiful and cozy cabin! The views from the large windows in the living room were beautiful and the proximity to the river was so peaceful. The cabin was clean and comfortable for the duration of our stay.

Picturesque Retreat
House is nice and secluded with an amazing view of the river and surrounding area. We were visited by a family of deer on a few of the nights / mornings and had a nice light snow to make things even more scenic. The pellet stove had it's quirks, but overall everything was nice and we would stay there again.

A friend and I planned a little weekend getaway from our darling families to rest and read books and stretch. This house was DELIGHTFUL! Sitting in front of the stove in cozy armchairs, reading while snow falls outside = heaven. The local property manager was very helpful, as was the owner when we had a question. 10/10 will rent again.

This home was delightful. With a large back yard and a large patio, having the east branch of the Delaware River at the end of the property was most appealing. Navigating the driveway was somewhat of a challenge, even in the summer, but all went well. The property manager was attentive even to small matters. I would definitely recommend this home.

We loved the setting and the house was nice
We were unable to enter the house, the code didn't work and there was no key. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. The grounds were not at all kept up. All the gardens were over grown with weeds.

Far From The Madding Crowd
We had a lovely vacation in Angela's house tucked alongside the Beaverkill. Lovely location, lovely home and every possible need accounted for. Angela was always very responsive when we had any questions. We could just pop across the lawn and fish to our heart's delight with no pressure. Had the cutest chipmunk duo to entertain us, in addition to multiple birds- including Hummingbirds. Had flybys of juvenile Bald Eagles with their parents. Also, a visit from a young black bear. We were inside and he was passing through. Kitchen was fully equipped and beds were comfortable. Didn't have a chance to use the river rafts, kayaks or jacuzzi provided. Maybe next time.
