Great location close to station, coastal bus routes and with excellent sea views from the terrace and restaurant. Food really good - plenty of breakfast options and the restaurant meals were superb. Ask for tap water though - cost us £4.95 for bottle of still water! Pool lovely and warm. Room clean, comfortable and a good size. Really enjoyed our second stay here and would stay again.

A delightful little hotel. Staff were all pleasant and helpful, our room was spacious light and airy overlooking the beach . Quality of bedding and towels are lovely. Food very nicely cooked, good choice of menu, no greasy breakfasts, all well presented. Good variation of dinner menu. South sands beach is lovely, perfect for families. My only hesitation is that if you don’t want to drive whilst on holiday the walk to the next beach, north sands, is a very steep walk uphill and then a further walk into Salcombe itself for us of “mature years”, or for the very young. The ferry across to Salcombe is fun but stops crossing back around 6.00pm so evening meals there are out unless you can get a taxi back. We had a lovely break here and would recommend it for a quiet relaxing time.

One of the best properties we’ve stayed in! We had a great time - the rooms are stunning, there is so much to do around the property and yet, it was peaceful and intimate at the same time. Highly recommend having all your meals there - the food and staff were a big highlight of our stay. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing place to stay. Everything about our visit here was perfect. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after. I cannot praise the staff there enough. Our room was fabulous, the dinner and breakfast excellent it was a really memorable experience can’t wait to go back.
