Medallion Cabin! Nestled in the pines and centrally located between two amazing ski resorts, this lovely, rustic cabin is a perfect get-a-away for the family and with friends. If a beautiful, cozy, rustic cabin with all the amenities of home, and close to all the attractions around New Mexico’s Enchanted Circle is what you have in mind, you will be amazed by “Medallion Cabin.”  
  
Accommodating up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms, 2 living areas, and 2 full baths, the cabin’s beautiful design, mountain views, and proximity to popular attractions provide the perfect backdrop for creating special mountain-style vacation memories. Sit on the porch and enjoy the visit of wild turkeys and deer as well as the relaxation and the sound of nature.   
  
Cozy, warm and inviting, this cabin is ideal for a honeymoon, romantic getaway, or small family vacation. Guests will enjoy the open layout with room to gather for family fun and meals. The eat-in kitchen is nicely equipped with all the prep ware needed for delicious home cooking. It also features a gorgeous wood table that seats six people comfortably.   
  
With two living areas, both with high-definition smart TVs, you'll have plenty of space to spread out comfortably. One of these areas can be converted to either a bedroom with a sleeper sofa for additional guests or a separate family room for relaxation. Both bathrooms are modern yet styled with rustic finishes providing guests with an authentic mountain aesthetic. You will also have access to complementary high-speed WiFi; free streaming channels; a laundry area with a washer/dryer; and a large front yard to relax and BBQ.   
  
We are very excited to be able to share Medallion Cabin with you. During your visit, please feel free to enjoy high definition smart TVs, board games, puzzles, books, coffee, tea. Cuddle up with cabin-style quilts by the gas-burning fireplace. Pamper yourself with natural, organic toiletries from one of New Mexico’s local farms. Relax by the front porch with an amazing view.   
  
Guests have exclusive access to the entire property including driveway parking. There is additional parking at the back of the cabin.

Nestled in the Southern Rockies, Medallion Cabin is located between Angel Fire and Red River Ski Resorts providing lake views, mountain views, skiing, hiking and more! The majestic Eagle Nest Lake State Park, renown for trout fishing, is just down the hill from Medallion Cabin. You truly are just a hop away from all that the “Enchanted Circle” has to offer. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, and don't miss out on the snowmobiling and sledding.

Other Things to Note:  
  
Our software automatically discounts 10% for weekly stays and 20% for monthly stays and our posted prices is our best price, so please do not message us asking for a "special discounted rate."   
  
The locks, the cleaners and our maintenance personnel all work on an automated schedules based on our published check-in time and check out times. In addition, we only have a narrow 5 hour window to prepare the property between the posted checkout time and the posted check-in time. For these reasons early check in or late checkout is no longer free and "may" be able to be purchased at a rate of $20/hour prior to check-in time, or $20/hour after listed checkout time.   
  
The grill is available from mid-April to mid-October.  
  
4WD or AWD Vehicles required November through March  
  
If there are any issues during your stay, please contact the host and give them the opportunity to address any issues before leaving a negative review or asking for a discounted stay.  
  
We accept dogs not cats for an additional $120 nonrefundable pet fee  
  
We no longer make exceptions to the published cancellation policy for any reason so if you want to be extra safe should you need to cancel, please purchase trip insurance.

Love this property! Very clean and well kept. The kitchen is definitely fully stocked with everything you need. The area was very peaceful with wildlife everywhere! My kids loved see all the deer and turkey every morning and evening. The special touch with notes from the owner made us feel like family! Just a great place to stay!

Don't let the 1st impression as you drive up fool you. The inside is immaculate and very cozy, but not in a small way. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full baths with 2 living areas. The place was absolutely spotless! The knotty pine floors and walls were well done and the furniture/decorations went well for a total package. It is located between the town of Eagle Nest and the Angel Fire Resort area. Very relaxing and comfortable!

#### Annual Fishing Trip

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Perfect accomodation for 3 fisherman. After spending the days on the lake and the river catching trout and pike, this was a perfect place to cook our catch and relax with a nice bourbon while watching the deer and turkey graze in the front yard, Comfortable beds and all the needed accomodations. We plan on coming back every year.

Wished we had a grill. I know we stayed mid April couldn't cook steaks out. Also need a cast iron skillet in case no grill. To sear the steaks and cook in oven. Other than that perfect place. Enjoyed the deer ever day and night
