There was only ONE other person around while I was at this waterfall and I got him in the photo... You might need to zoom in to see him, lol This is the ultimate gem of the Westfjords!!! and pretty much the main reason I went into the Westfjords (being a waterfall fanatic). The roads in the Westfjords are not for the faint hearted, and I was pretty stressed driving here... But once I arrived it was all worth it! AMAZING!!! Possibly the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland, but that's a tall order as they are all so beautiful and unique in there own way. The hike (#hiking) up to it isn't too bad, but a lot maybe 20min each way, more if you take a million pictures like I do. There are numerous smaller waterfalls on your way up, all with names, to check out and photograph.
