"We had a fantastic stay and honestly didn’t want to leave. John and Beth have truly created something special here. It’s one of those places that immediately puts you at ease the moment you arrive. The views are incredible, and the whole space has such a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight, especially with the picture perfect lake view right in front of us. Everything was thoughtfully set up, and the heaters kept the space at the perfect warm temperature, making it comfortable no matter the time of day.If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with great ambiance and attention to detail, this is it. We’d absolutely come back."

"This was a lifetime experience. Total core memory. 32nd anniversary was the BEST! I thought it was fun to stay in a treehouse. This is so much more than a treehouse. The owner brings the magic! My husband and I will definitely be back. We ran all over seeing the sights but the real magic is at the Emerald Forest. I can't wait to put our memories to canvas prints for our wall. I was skeptical the outdoor shower would keep me warm but it did with the heater! Showering with the birds is not to be missed. Everything was exceptionally clean. The owner was friendly and communicated well. I found this place on Amazon Primes Little VRBO. The show doesn't cover the "surprise" the owner has for everyone who stays. All the feels folks. "

"If you want a quiet, very beautiful,amazing comfy home, where your host brings you fresh eggs and yummy I mean yummy sour dough bread. We have never encountered such nice host and we travel a lot . So if you ever need to go to Monroe you really need to check out Susan and Johns home !!"

"Stayed for a birthday weekend and it was a comfortable and enjoyable time. Great amenities coupled with beautiful views helped us want to relax at home more than leave for birthday fun. There were a few broken items and missing pieces to things we used or needed but otherwise the experiences was flawless. Alan is a great host and very communicative. He goes out of his way to give you piece of mind and to make sure you're taken care of."

"Amenities were in good condition. One window in the master was uncovered and probably could have used a better outdoor entry mat as it was difficult to keep all the tree debris off our shoes as we entered. We kept our shoes off as requested, but still had to vacuum the entry several times to keep it clean. Appliances were in good condition and modern. Was a bit of a learning curve with the induction range, but it worked well. Wish I realized the ice maker produced nice large spheres earlier in our stay, They would have been great in a bourbon. "

"The host hung a happy birthday sign for my daughter when I told them why we were going when booking. The kids loved playing in the net and the hot tub was very nice. It was relaxing and quiet. The shower was difficult to keep water in the pan and the compostable toilet was not pleasant. Also there are cameras aimed directly into the cabin where my husband and I slept downstairs and around the area. I am hoping they were disabled while we were there."
