Dutchman’s Landing

Because the building is old, noise travels between rooms. The inconsiderate people next door to me left the television on all night. Maybe to cover the sound of their snoring.

While the room was perfect in almost every way, there was space for improvements. No complimentary water in room or coffee service, a small expectation on my part. Still room was a ten. Here are my suggestions on the exterior; please don’t start grounds so early being woken at 7a to the sounds of lawn care equipment, while being hungover just makes me angry. I missed the breakfast order slip on the room desk so no wake-up food and no coffee or water. It worked because I went right down to Starbucks and ordered. Okay where was I outside in between area is a courtyard while lavished with fire pits they were actually a smokers place that had dirty ashtrays with water and butt mixtures this should be cleaned. Make sure you have a room key only certain doors will open from the outside it was confusing but the doors that are closest to the hall between the parking were not locked. Front desk on check in 110% the best, however after night return from the casino there was a small line of customers waiting this caused me to reconsider shopping at the snack area not wanting to wait in line with cold drinks and chips, not because I am impatient but I didn’t see the clerk. Which in my mind means they had to leave the front to assist another guest? The people waiting looked somewhat suspect and it was late not up for line standing and conversation with randoms. I went back to my room. Don’t lose your key I thought to myself or I would be forced to be in that line .
