Take a short walk to the beautiful township of Dunolly, drop into the cafes, collectable shops, Art galleries, Museum, pub and the famous Dunolly bakery. Stroll through the streets and admire the historical buildings and the history of this once vibrant gold mining town. At the end of the day relax in the peace and tranquillity of this quaint cottage, cosy up to the fireplace or indulge in a long hot bath. Please be aware the cottage is on approx half acre with fencing at the front and sides of house but no fencing to the rear of the property that looks out to the silos, We welcome your pets (2 small or 1 med size) to the cottage, it is common for a extra charge however we do not, please ensure you clean up after your pets Animals are strictly prohibited from the bedrooms, carpet cleaning and all bedding steam cleaned will be charged to back to guest ## Property amenities ### Parking and transport - Was exceptionally clean and comfortable and spacious. The two queen beds were a little firm but better than the alternative and would be good if there was WIFI. The owner was very accommodating when we had to change the nights due to personal reasons. Alicia was very responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay. The property has been tastefully renovated with lots of beautiful additions old and new to complement it's character. Our dog loved being with us chasing the butterflies and the backyard is huge. Our only grudge was all the burrs that clung to her fur and seemed to get in everywhere! The property is next to a silo and train track but we barely noticed. It had everything we needed and the town centre is only a few minutes away. The cottage was much more spacious than I expected with a beautiful dining area and spacious lounge. The bath was amazing but did take some time to reach an adequate level but having a wine in the front veranda helped pass the time. Whilst the property backs on to the silos, they dont work weekends so was no issue. I loved the choice of having my morning coffee in the sun on the back patio or in the shade on the front veranda. It is on a main road with many trucks but I found that interesting to watch. Oh and before I forget… Dunolly has the most amazing hand spun wool shop with the owner so friendly and helpful.
