    Swim, fish, and rock-hound along the shores, or simply sit back and take in the breathtaking waterfront views at this Seneca Lake log cabin. Offering an authentic taste of the Finger Lakes, this rustic one-acre retreat sits along 50 feet of direct lake frontage and boasts private highlights like a large deck, a dock, and a hot tub. Board games, books, and art supplies are also provided for low-key family fun. You'll be within easy reach of a public boat launch, along with several local wineries along the popular Wine Trail.



    The Space:

    Sunrise and sunset each offer a different opportunity to experience the beautiful lake views, and the gentle lapping of water against the rocky beach will lull you into a state of vacation bliss. A gushing gully only adds to the ambient soundtrack of your surroundings after a passing rain. The private hot tub is standing by with soothing soaks to help rejuvenate you after the day's adventures.



    Inside, gather for conversation in front of the fireplace, or kick back in front of the TV to stream your favorite shows and movies. Stainless steel kitchen appliances are equipped to help you handle home cooking. There's also a gas grill for lakeside barbecues.

Cabin was perfectly described. It was so warm & cozy . The views & location were absolutely perfect . The owners have really thought of everything that we may have needed right down to the smallest details . Cabin was extremely clean & very well taken care of . Would definitely stay here again .

Wonderful!

My husband stayed here as a 5 day getaway for our anniversary. What a beautiful cabin! The view was amazing- sitting overlooking the lake each evening and waking up to sunshine over the lake each morning! The peace and solitude was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Cabin on the Lake

This property was really cozy and inviting. The deck is amazing, and the hot tub was really appreciated as the weather was chilly and cloudy, so it added a little warmth. The owners have really thought of everything, and there were some nice extra touches (doggie bags, well stocked kitchen, very nice bedding/pillows, etc.). We would love to stay again, just hope for better weather next time!

Cozy, relaxing stay

Perfect home and location for a relaxing get-a-way. The cabin had every amenity we needed and the front porch was wonderful! Great view of the lake, quiet location and easy access to Watkins Glen, wineries and restaurants. Our dogs were welcomed and enjoyed the porch and backyard. We brought our own kayaks and were able to launch from the dock. It was a steep trail down to the dock, but it was definitely do-able and we were able to leave the kayaks down near the dock during our stay. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave!!

Lovely Log Cabin

As advertised a lovely log cabin to stay in while enjoying our first visit to the Seneca Lake area. Beautiful views of the lake from the back deck especially the sunrise for early risers. Close to many breweries and wineries we visited as well as Watkins Glen for dining and a stroll thru town. The Gorge Trail is a must see! With a quick walk down a steep path to the lake we were able to spend time on the dock and even wade in the water with our dog. Will definitely rent again upon our return to the Seneca Wine Trail.

Very cozy lakeside retreat

The cabin was a perfect cozy fit for our family of five. The three kids (6, 9, 11) took the king bed leaving the queen for mom and dad. There were thoughtful conveniences throughout and we found everything we needed. The deck and view are superb. The cabin is very pet friendly…but we didn’t bring pets. If you’re allergic, think twice.

Great home, great location, beautiful views

This property was relaxing! Incredibly beautiful views, great location, it felt very private, quiet. The deck was probably are favorite part and where we spent most of our time. We did lots of grilling! There’s plenty of space for everybody to relax and have a place to sleep. We had some issues that I do not feel is necessary to make public and is better discussed privately. I will only say publicly that the communication with Vacasa should be better. We did reach out about the issues and did not hear back. We are hoping we will hear back after this review process. Although some of the issues were a bummer, we all understand that sometimes issues happen so we did not allow the problems to ruin our good time! Give this property a shot!

Serenity

The cabin is wonderful. High-end appliances are a nice touch. Plenty of seating and makes efficient use of the space to provide a sense of a much larger square footage. The elevated deck was my favorite. Spent all my time enjoying the spectacular view that encompasses lush foliage and the view of the lake. Plenty of cooking supplies, dishes silverware, towels...nice touch. For those who fish, as my brother does, it is a walk to the great dock area. The way is a one track dirt and gravel path the span of a side by side and is quite steep that would be difficult for elderly persons or those with stability issues. My calves were definitely engaged as well my heart rate on the way up. Totally worth it, though. So far, my favorite house in the region out of the three I have visited in two years.

The cabin on the lake was just wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning and evening time on the deck. The house was perfect for the 3 people in our group.The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was there and functional.We will likely return in the future.

Relaxing Vacation

Our family loved the large deck overlooking the lake, it was a great place to relax and enjoy the day. We spent time down on the dock at the water and swam a bit with the temps on the 90's. It is very close to Watkins Glen and a bunch of wineries.
