The lobby was under construction; it was dusty/dirty throughout the hotel. Breakfast was served in a conference room--we were charged for water even though the water smelled in the room. The room was clean--but the sink was cracked, the bathroom tiles were cracked and there was dirt in the tub--since we would be charged regardless, we stayed--wont EVER do it agian.

Not a place to sleep
Super loud. The staff were nice, but this building is a concrete block that echos. Add to that, the elevators quit working. When that happened the systems rest resulting in overly warm rooms and cards that no longer opened the doors. I'm still baffled by the decision to make echo chambers of the hallways. The purpose of a hotel is sleep, and I'm exhausted.

The property is under renovation. No idea that it would be this bad. Dust evrywhere, smell of grout. I would have stayed elsewhere. It will be nice when completed!

Super great staff. They are working on updating the facilities but still very comfortable and quiet. Looked like a nice swimming pool for the kids. Beds were okay. Very clean!

Great stay!
This place exceeded our expectations after previous hotels in this town. It was extremely comfortable and really clean. Staff were all really nice and even let us check in a little early after we had to leave our other hotel.

Room sucked!
I reserved a kink room and was put in a handicap room. The room itself was ok but the bathroom was not! Shower was small and flooded the rest of the bathroom so when I got out of the shower I had no place to dry my feet off! Tried to get my money back and go find another room as soon as we got in there but was told I would not get my money back and that room was the one I reserved! Will not be staying at Holliday inn again! Was over charged compared to other nicer hotels close by.

Check-in was at 3 p.m. We arrived at 4 p.m. and riom not ready. ☹️ I reserved abs paid for a room with 2 Queen beds and a sofa bed. I got a roim wirh no sofabed. ☹️ A little rough around the edges. Sauna out if order. Wall paper coming of the wall in the lobby. Seth, the front desk person was super nice and personable and doing the best he could.

This HI Express is a very nice property currently under renovation. The extra large room was a plus but the bathroom was the down side to this room. The tub was old and the shower nozzle didn't work very well. There were cracks in the tile and the caulking around the base of the tub was missing. The bathroom sink had a terrible faucet that only sprayed water and the lighting was not very bright. Breakfast was nice but after the first tray of cinnamon rolls were gone they were not refilled. Would stay here again but would hope the bathrooms are being renovated as well.

Very courteous staff. Very clean. The only thing is if you like a firmer mattress your in luck. If you like a soft mattress you probably won't like this one. Pool area was clean. Very spacious room.

We entered the 1st room we were assigned around 8:40pm (424) and noticed boots at the end of the bed. Lights were on and bed was unmade. Obviously tgis room was taken. By the way my wife reminded me that that's how people get shot..... We were given another room. It was larger and on the 1st floor. The manager on duty apologized profusely. Our second room was not occupied and even better no one walked in our room.

Poor management on duty and no one to fix issues
Room booked was not room i received. Person on duty said it was the Hotels.com fault and there was nothing the hotel could do to fix it. It seems that Holiday inn doesn't stand behind the 3 party companies it uses to book rooms. Why let them book rooms, if you all are not going to make sure the reservations are correct. Felt that is was poorly ran and was very frustrated. Also, toilet didn't work half the time, the air conditioner was extremely loud and didn't cool the room. Nothing was done to help fix these issues either.

Our check-in experience was marred by the fact that after using my extra American Express on the Expedia site to book it, the holiday inn computer system said that the Expedia charge had been declined, even though it went through on my American Express. And then took 30 minutes to straighten it out.
