"One of the most accommodating hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Ian (the owner I believe) went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable on our first trip away with our baby. All the staff in the hotel couldn’t have done enough for us to make our stay comfortable. The apartment was brilliant and spacious, easily accessed from the car park for a stroller. The breakfast was lovely too. I’ll definitely be back!"

"Our stay at Lyrath Estate was a memorable experience, and one of the biggest highlights was undoubtedly the incredible hotel breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the property and how well everything was maintained. The estate has a wonderful atmosphere, combining elegance, charm, and the peaceful surroundings that make it feel like a special place to stay. The grounds and overall appearance of the hotel were beautiful, and it was clear that a great deal of care went into maintaining the property. Whether you are visiting for a relaxing getaway, a romantic escape, or a special occasion, Lyrath Estate certainly has the setting to make your stay feel memorable. One of the first things that stood out to us was the overall presentation of the estate. The property was clean, well-kept, and visually impressive. "This place is absolutely magical! The property is enchanting, the hostess fascinating and the breakfast out of this world! The shepherd’s huts are so charming, I guess you could call it “glamping”? The one thing I would say is that my knees aren’t great and I found the steps to the huts a little tricky, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but other than that it’s a 10 out of 10! I wish I could have stayed longer."

"We are one week into a three week vacation. The Hoban was our first night and is still the best so far. Room was large bed was a North American style king size, food was amazing, staff extremely helpful. Can’t say enough good things about this place."

"Our stay was towards the end of a 10 day road trip through Ireland and I was really looking forward to staying at Mount Juliet Estate. Website and booking sites show a huge old manor house but our accommodation ended up being in a Marriot on a golf course. I wouldn't consider it a 5 star hotel. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable however the bathroom was shabby, dirty and the door didn't close properly. Breakfast was included and had a good selection."

"Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Wanted a relaxing weekend with good food and good atmosphere. Absolutely surpassed our expectations. Large comfortable bedroom with a lovely view of the countryside. Excellent dinner on 2 nights in the bar. Top quality food served by very pleasant staff in a warm cosy atmosphere. Breakfast the same, really pleasant staff. Would love to return. Definitely a hidden gem."
