Stepping inside from the covered front deck you\`ll be welcomed into a cozy living space with a wood burning stove and comfy leather couches. The family room has plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy a crackling wood fire, play some board games, or watch your favorite movies! KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen has has everything you need to make your favorite meals. You\`ll have a large sink along with an electric stovetop/oven and microwave. Safety: \-Keep the pit 15 feet away from anything that can burn. \-Clear 6 feet around the pit of anything that can catch fire. \-Always have someone 18 years or older watching the fire. \-Have at least 10 gallons of water or a hose nearby. During the day we opened windows. Everything we needed or wanted was already there. I did wish there was a tower fan for the primary bedroom since it did not have a ceiling fan, but we were fine. Lots of snow there yet this year when we were there. Listing said four wheel drive may be necessary in the winter-we were able to make it with two wheel drive but would not recommend it. We enjoyed our stay but did not spend much time there during the daytime. Our children enjoyed sledding down the hills in the evenings. Owners very helpful with the info we needed. ##### Alex M. My son, daughter, and granddaughter had a lovely time there. The bedrooms were spacious. We enjoyed the fire pit outside. The few issues we had were attempted to be solved by the host very quickly. Our main issues were that the heater in the living room was always on so it was warm. However, we just opened the windows and things were fine. Since the weather was perfect in the 70s, we didn’t mind so much. The host said they would certainly address that. The host also said they would address the fact that there was no bedside tables in two of the bedrooms and no place to put clothes in the one with the bunkbeds. we appreciated the fact that there were plenty of trash bags and the towels were very luxurious. Since there were only four of us, sharing the cabin, the fact that they were only four dining room chairs was no problem. However, if the cabin was full, that might be an issue. You could, of course always sit outside, unless it was winter. We would definitely stay here again, as Duck Creek is one of our favorite places to visit. Thanks for a wonderful week. ##### Judy S.
