The immediate area where the hotel is located is pretty deserted, but I found that a four-or-so-block walk got me readily to a few very nice restaurants for dinner. There wasn't much available for lunch, though. The only negative with the unit itself was that the bathroom was not cleaned before I arrived. There was "debris" caked onto the inside of the toilet bowl and the shower had what looked like a muddy footprint in it. The towels and sheets also didn't have a super clean feel or smell to them. There is a microbrewery on the first floor. Farmer's market within 2 blocks and lots of good eats within walking distance. This was a great place to stay. It is a bit different - our rental was a beautiful apartment in an old building undergoing renovations. This location is in a part of town that is just a ways off from downtown (10 minute walk) and in an area that is emerging into a go-to destination with a craft beer tap room right down stairs and additional restaurants and stores being added. Parking was included. Would stay here again. Check-in/check-out couldn't have been easier.
