The breakfast that was made fresh every morning was by far the best we have ever had. The little extras like wine time with cheese and crackers made the weekend even better. "We had a great stay for a little family retreat in off-season Galena. By renting both suites, we essentially had the house to ourself (less the kitchen proper) which was a wonderful surprise (and pleasant when traveling with kids!) Breakfast was delicious, and it was hard to pick what our favorite meal was. After a day of shopping on Main Street, it was nice to come back to the house for a charcuterie plate and cookies (both different every day!) and wine.
