It is also near Dubai Creek and an "aura" ride across to the Gold Souk. I really loved the cafe, where you could have a refreshing lime mint drink or watermelon juice drink. The room I stayed in was cute and perfect for my needs. The fruit plate was a perfect welcome gift. Wonderful experience. The only issue was that the taxi driver was unable to find it. To get there from the main road at 1AM was challenging. Small streets are like a maze the first time you walk. One thoughtful touch is that the hotel provides a shower room for guests with late flights, which is really convenient. We wanted to take a break from the steel and glass high rises and didn’t regret it. The hotel is combined with cafe and art gallery. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in cafe is lovely. All rooms are designed in different traditional style. We had room 10, designed in Turkish tarboosh theme. The location can’t be more perfect to explore old Dubai. We were able to walk to Al Seef. The Al Ghubaiba ferry station and Al Fahidi metro is also nearby, so we could travel to business district and Burj Khalifa by metro and to Marina by ferry and Deira soul by abra.
