Lovely beach resort

Very nice beach resort with gently sloping beach great for kids. Pool was also nice with a decent shallow end. Room looked a bit tired though - could do with a revamp.

Great pet friendly hotel!

Great weekend away with the dogs. The newly renovated rooms are great and the staff are very accommodating. The beach and the bar are really great and the food/drinks are very good and reasonably priced. We really like it here and cant wait to be back.

Ummalquwain beach stay

Good beachfront place for a quick visit. Rooms are well proportioned with good amenities. Lumi beach is a nice place, they should add more items in their menu which is very thin.

The room was basic but very clean. The food and service was average. In fact, at times the service in the beach bar was very slow. In the hot section of the breakfast, the food was cold. The pool is old and needs to be repaired. There is a lot of noisy construction happening.

A place to recommend

This has been a great week end in a nice pet friendly hotel with a beautiful BoHo-spirit beach and great sunset. Nice food and drinks. Better attention to the sunbeds is encouraged.

It wasn't the first time I stayed in this hotel, but this time it was really terrible. They turned the nice hotel's beach into the shooting scene for some Bollywood Movie! For two days out of three days of our staying there were literally thousand people on the beach, dancing, singing the same song for the shooting. Not to mention that there was a lot of noise of scene preparation at night before shooting, they were drilling, cutting, hammering the decorations all night! The hotel could at least warn the guests about such inconvenience, I am sure they knew about it well in advance!

Loved the beach, hated the loud music on it

This hotel has one of the best beaches in the UAE. But they spoil it by having loud music playing everywhere. How provincial! I wish they would wake up to the fact that in the 21st century everyone has Airpods and can listen to the music of one's choice or not to listen to any. Tim Cook and Apple gave us a choice! but Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel want to decide for us what we will listen and when. It is really annoying. OK if they think that some people like it, they can put the music on one side of the beach and keep the other part quiet. But no, they turn it on everywhere. What a shame! Apart from the beach, the hotel is OK but not great. The bathroom door only opens part of the way because the sink blocks it - one must squeeze in. The beds are OK. The breakfast is very good. Internet is very bad, very unstable. Everything else is so-so but the beach is really great, it is the best they have - if only they would let guests enjoy it!

Geweldig mooi strand met uitstekende voorzieningen

Buiten het weekend een rustig hotel met prachtig zwembad en geweldig strand. Op het strand een gezellige bar voor eten en drinken. Ook ruim voldoende bedjes. De hotelkamers zijn erg ruim en netjes, maar wel gedateerd. Maar het zwembad en strand maakt dit ruim goed!
