Very disappointed with the level of service at this hotel. On arrival to our room, there were no hotel slippers or robes, when I requested for this we were given slippers but told robes were not provided though we saw other guests wearing robes with the hotel logo present. The bathroom only had one bath towel & used sugar in the tea/coffee tray. Water was luke warm and when reported to the reception, we were told to run the tap even though we had done that for 10mins. On the 2nd night the room was not hoovered nor were toiletries such as shower gel re-stocked, only 2 shower gels given in our entire stay yet there was an abundance of shampoo about 4-5 bottles which were not required. When requesting to use the microwave to heat up our food, we were blatantly lied to that this was not possible, however once my husband persisted, the kitchen staff we spoke to soon did as we requested. On our 4th day we had to change rooms after housekeeping failed to hoover yet again, no re-stock of toiletries and no towels. Along with that the water temp was just terrible. Staff were extremely slow & sluggish when we requested for an iron & board, we were given an iron that did not work. We would wait at least 15-20mins after requesting for our food to be heated up. Overall our stay was not enjoyable, after staying at the palm this hotel was a complete shambles and we would never return again, the service beyond poor and that of a 2 star hotel.
