I’ve stayed at this property over 10 times. I’m a loyal customer and It’s a great Hotel full of fantastic amenities.
I did find that the staff at times dropped their service levels.
At times I was waiting for a drink for over 10 minutes when the place didn’t seem busy at all. During one meal our drinks actually arrived after our food. Other times I could be waiting at a bar for 10 minutes before I was served.
The stinginess of the all-inclusive package at times could be frustrating. I attempted to take half a bottle of beer back to my room as I needed to go and get ready to go out for dinner. I was stopped and it was suggested I should chin my beer rather than take it to the room. Obviously I had to leave it, seems a waste. I can’t see why taking a bottle of beer back to your room is such a problem.
Draft Heineken is not part of the package put a bottle of Heineken is. in theory 10 bottles of Heineken is. Not quite sure why.
Lots of things on the menu aren’t included in the all-inclusive package. That’s always been the case, not a massive issue.
I played golf, it’s a lovely course. £75 for the round (which is half price) seemed quite a lot when part of the all-inclusive package. What made it worse is the Marshall followed us around the course telling us to hurry up at every hole. He was literally parked up behind us when taking shots. We weren’t playing slow, at times we had to wait for the group ahead …and it completely ruined the round.
