Ok hotel close to beach

Pros: The location was good but the hotel is definitely dated. Outside seating area / bar was great and the service there was solid. Gym was good.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated. Food was just OK.
Location: Beach, marina, shopping etc all within walking distance.
I was on a business trip and most were there on vacation so my needs were probably different than most.

Reserved a King Bed, got 2 Double Beds.

Other then the front desk refusing to give me the room I reserved online, telling me the hotel was completely booked, it was an overall great stay. Had two spa treatments that were fantastic. Spent the days by the pool or the beach, and the hotel staff kept the drinks cold and topped off. Food selection was nice, room service was quick. The price of the Sheesha is a little high, but nice to have nonetheless. The wifi never worked properly and went to Starbucks daily to check emails. Over all though, this resort is all inclusive and has everything I needed for a 3 day getaway.

Overpriced, old hotel on the beach

Location: Next to beach and shopping complex
The Sheraton JBR is one of the oldest hotels on JBR beach. Dated decor and worn down rooms. Service is substandard. The only saving grace is its location right on the beach, and next to a sprawling shopping mall with plenty of restaurants, shops and a movie theater. Habtoor Grand, and the Le Royal Meridien hotels nearby have better restaurants and entertainment options. JA Ocean View, Moevenpick and Amwaj Rotana are better hotels with nicer rooms.

Only good thing about the hotel is the Location

The hotel refuses for you to upgrade (pay and upgrade) until you arrive which I find very unreasonable. This was not a good start before I even arrived. The quality of the hotel is very poor. The whole hotel need renovation it is very old fashioned. The bedrooms whilst quite spacious need renovation the bathroom is very old with old tiles and appliances. The furniture and decor is not one of a 5* hotel if expect in Dubai. There was also no balcony. I was extremely disappointed in Expedia as when you book it states the room is Sea View then when you receive your confirmation Sea View is not mentioned. I had to pay over £300 to get the room I thought I'd originally booked. The sea view I had to pay extra for was quite nice. They have built an island right in front of the hotel where the largest Ferris wheel will built for next year. This didn't bother me too much. The best thing about the hotel is he location on the beach and the beach bar which is new and serves excellent sushi.

Hotel implanté face à la mer dans une palmeraie .

Hotel Implanté avec ses 9 étages face à la mer, au démarrage de la promenade intitulé the Walk, long boulevard agrémentés de restaurants avec terrasse, des boutiques chics au bord de l’océan, très agréable le soir venu. La décoration de l'hôtel n'est plus d'une grande modernité, spécifiquement la chambre mais elle reste très confortable, literie excellente, la salle de bain bien équipée et fonctionnelle. La piscine chauffée en mars, n'est pas très grande, surtout pour les lèves tard qui auront du mal à trouver une place, mais une palmeraie permet de trouver des transats en nombre et de s’y relaxer. J’ai aussi vraiment apprécié le Lounge Bar Bliss, musique de bonne qualité, service très agréable sur la plage privée, le seul point négatif pratiquement trois quart des transats et bain de soleil sont réservés toute la journée moyennant finance, donc vide, Je conseille vivement de vous abonner, la carte SPG donne droit à de grosses réductions à chaque présentation ( boissons repas ) .

Very nice hotel in great location
