Lovely hotel, shame about the building work

Posted 19-Mar-2017
Hotel itself is lovely. Very clean, spacious rooms, good pools and beach. Food and Drinks are super expensive!! About £16 for a cocktail by the pool. Building works all around the hotel, working day and night. A very chilled hotel no pool parties, lots of families and older couples not really the place to stay for young groups of friends.

Close to beach, Dubai mall and old town, recommend

Posted 31-Jan-2017
Pros: Spa and pool facilities, clean and spacious rooms, good on site restaurants, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Good enough
Location: 10 mins from Dubai mall by taxi, 5 mins from old town, restaurants on site and just outside hotel.
Great location, close to shop, town and places of interest. Quiet spot away from building works Very pleased, great staff very helpful. Good facilities like spa and gym as well as on site restaurants.

Guests in neighbouring rooms keep you awake

Posted 29-Jan-2017
As in seversl hotels in dubai, prostitutes are tolerated in the bar as long as they keep silent and dont approach men actively. That in itself is akward as it will also lead to action in neighbouring rooms and sound proofing is inadequate. It get worse when fights start beteeen them over money. The hotel management of this hotel accepts this practice and disqualifies itself for future booking for normal guests. Ban prostitutes from your hotel or accept to be considered a brothel.

Remote and private style hotel

Posted 31-Dec-2016
Nice to have private beach that only hotel guests can enjoy. Couple of pools are selling points as we have one 5 and one 7 years old girls the kids pool and shallow water by beach are perfect. We even picked up a starfish and saw few jellyfish at beach....water so clean! Although facilities are a bit old and the service are not quite timely, still recommendable as other similar style hotel in Dubai may cost u double.

Large hotel with nice pools and small beach

Posted 05-Dec-2016
Pros: Staff and swimming pool
Cons: Restaurants were rather over priced - better value elsewhere.
Location: Next to huge building sites, roads closed etc. and very dusty.
Hotel was OK, several restaurants but all a bit over priced. Location was fine for what we wanted but the Open Beach next door isn't open and won't be for ages / years - large scale building works either side, so limited to the small beach at the hotel rather than the long Jumeirah beach. We walked to the nearest access point and it took 20 minutes. Early morning wake-up call from the mosque across the street took a bit of getting used to. Staff were really lovely and the entire place was spotless

Great Weekender

Posted 17-Nov-2016
Did a visa run to a Dubai from Doha. Great location and great hotel. So many restaraunts and drinking locations all in the resort. The beach was clean and room was perfect. The complex is quite large and it takes a while to learn your way around from your room. We needed to go up a couple of flights of stairs for our villa so if you have mobility issues ask for a ground level room
