Direct access to the beach

Posted 19-Apr-2017
Nice hotel in general with direct access to the beach. The room is a bit small and not very new but it's comfortable. Buffet breakfast is very nice and the beach is amazing!

The rooms are dingy and in need of both some repairs (rotting wood door jambs in the bathroom) and a general renovation. There were disturbances during the night - initially loud music but then constant shouting in the early hours - nothing happened until we called reception and requested an intervention. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Lovely hotel, shame about the building work

Posted 19-Mar-2017
Hotel itself is lovely. Very clean, spacious rooms, good pools and beach. Food and Drinks are super expensive!! About £16 for a cocktail by the pool. Building works all around the hotel, working day and night. A very chilled hotel no pool parties, lots of families and older couples not really the place to stay for young groups of friends.

Close to beach, Dubai mall and old town, recommend

Posted 31-Jan-2017
Pros: Spa and pool facilities, clean and spacious rooms, good on site restaurants, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Good enough
Location: 10 mins from Dubai mall by taxi, 5 mins from old town, restaurants on site and just outside hotel.
Great location, close to shop, town and places of interest. Quiet spot away from building works Very pleased, great staff very helpful. Good facilities like spa and gym as well as on site restaurants.

Guests in neighbouring rooms keep you awake

Posted 29-Jan-2017
As in seversl hotels in dubai, prostitutes are tolerated in the bar as long as they keep silent and dont approach men actively. That in itself is akward as it will also lead to action in neighbouring rooms and sound proofing is inadequate. It get worse when fights start beteeen them over money. The hotel management of this hotel accepts this practice and disqualifies itself for future booking for normal guests. Ban prostitutes from your hotel or accept to be considered a brothel.

Actually the resort is great in general also may be the only resort in that area but i faced the following : 1.I felt really different treatment since ever I checked because we are arabic family and not western starting from the receptionist to the restaurant waiters (not in a good way) 2.the resort has just beside it night clubs which make it un comfortable for families (you dont feel secure at night) 3.short of staff for parking assisstant at rush times (even though they left my rent car on the street side for the whole which made me very upset ) I complained but no action was take. 4.the breakfast quality is excellent but no variations.

Remote and private style hotel

Posted 31-Dec-2016
Nice to have private beach that only hotel guests can enjoy. Couple of pools are selling points as we have one 5 and one 7 years old girls the kids pool and shallow water by beach are perfect. We even picked up a starfish and saw few jellyfish at beach....water so clean! Although facilities are a bit old and the service are not quite timely, still recommendable as other similar style hotel in Dubai may cost u double.
