I liked having an outside door to the room, and had a door to a hallway. That way you could go to breakfast without having to walk outside.

I booked this on Expedia and specifically was seeking a dog friendly facility as well as one that was affordable. It was for a search & rescue volunteer conference. My dog is a search dog and I am a volunteer so we pay our own way. When I called the hotel after booking they said they do NOT take dogs contrary to what Expedia says. So I said I would book elsewhere. They said they would accommodate me anyway but they told me all the dog horror stories. So I did stay. When I checked out the total seemed too high but he said it is taxes etc. After the days conference I checked the taxes for province and realized that I had been overcharged for the room rate. Before leaving the city I went back to the hotel. I waited at the front dezk and rang the bell a couple of times but no one appeared. I was under big time pressure as I had a very long drive ahead of me so I left. At no time did anyone say they were going to charge me more than what I had booked at with Expedia. This over charging after Expedia has happened to me twice before so I will no longer be booking anything through Expedia.

It had a hot shower, warm bed, place to put cold food and drinks, staff was friendly, and the price was right. What more does anyone need!

Good for sleep

One night stay. More of a budget type hotel but not in terrible condition. Cheaper to book through hotel instead of online. Only complaint would be thin exterior walls; you can hear vehicles idling and starting.
