"My wife and I just stayed 3 nights at the Blue Door Inn and were extremely pleased with every aspect of our stay. Peter went above and beyond in taking care of us during a 30” snow storm- in May! From the wonderful breakfast to offering afternoon coffee to just checking in with us during the day- our stay was wonderful in a beautiful place. All the conveniences of home with a scenery money cannot buy is just what the Dr. ordered for this Texas couple who loves the Blue Door Inn and Estes Park. Ken and Patti L"

"The bathroom wasn’t all that clean, there was hair in the shower, and sink. I think it was the mini frig but thete was a high pitched hum the entire time. And the pool was down, the elevator makes noise. All make it a functioning hotel not one I would stay or recommend to others. The only above average was the breakfast. "

"Loved the property. Room was excellent. Very nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable, and clean. Was disappointed the bar was closed on the day we stayed but no fault of the property, everyone needs a day off. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Such beautiful rooms overlooking the lake! The rooms are big and one of the better hotel layouts I have had. The staff was great! Especially Austin at the front desk. The restaurant onsite had epic views as well. Highly recommend this place."

"For a hotel that was advertised on the Colorado Marathon webpage as a partner hotel, advertised with early breakfast available from 3:30am, then kitchen was not open till 6:30am. In addition the hotel booked a gala in the lobby on the same night which was very noisy until 11pm when all the marathon runners needed an early nights sleep."

"The first room the smoke detectors kept going off, had the room switched. The next room the Tv wasn’t working because of the snowstorm weather. Also, one of the elevators didn’t work. "
