The social space seems to have never fully recovered from Covid, as there was no bar at all, and while it said that breakfast was available, the dining area was "dead". For someone like me who didn't appreciate that the area was not at all car friendly, the parking situation was expensive and less than convenient. The nighttime environment was a bit sketchy, and I feel that perhaps a locked front entrance requiring your key card for entrance would have made me feel safer. (1,005 reviews) Service was wonderful, the Italian restaurant attached the hotel has a great happy hour and delicious food, highly recommend. Loved the area and proximity to the Financial District and Union Square shopping. I felt safe during my stay as a solo female traveller. Only downfall is the rooms weren't quite as nice as they looked online. The furniture could use with updating, coffee cream in the fridge would have been lovely and perhaps more rugs to cover the cement floors. Otherwise, will likely return as the pros offset any areas of improvement for me and the price was reasonable for SF. Thank you for a great visit!
