I was planning a road trip with my sister and found this hotel online. It looked and sounded interesting and the reviews for the bar and restaurant made it worth a look. When we first pulled into the parking lot we weren't that impressed but that changed from the minute we stepped into the lobby to check in. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were fantastic. Polly recommended a fun scientific burlesque show for that night that was really fun. When we asked for recommendations for restaurants she told us there at the hotel was the best. Boy was she right. We ate almost every meal there. Dinners were amazing and on Friday thru Sunday they serve a brunch that was to die for. The bar was equally amazing. They had some very unusual drinks that were created by the staff and the bartender who has been rated the top bartender in Boise for 5 years. The Celery and Smoke drink was my favorite. All of the ingredients for the food and the drinks were so fresh and delicious. We LOVED Brittany, Michael and Sam who I proposed to at least twice but everyone was amazing and helpful in answering any questions. The hotel has bikes that you can use to ride around the city or the greenbelt which we did. GREAT TRIP!!!
We were very happy with our accommodations and extremely happy with the hotel staff. The check in clerk helped us with directions to an event we had come to Boise for. He printed out directions for us and delivered them promptly to our room. We also found the restaurant wait staff to be very accommodating and attentive. It was a great experience.
As long as you're not expecting luxury, it should be fine. It's very basic, but reasonably clean. The owners are fairly pleasant and accommodating. It iss inexpensive relative to other places downtown, and it is only ten minutes walk to the very centre of town. I'd stay there again.
