"We stayed for one night and also ate both dinner and breakfast here. We were happy with our stay. The people who manage the space were helpful and friendly. We appreciated their hard work. Everything was clean. The pub-type food, while nothing extraordinary, was enjoyable and - again - the service was good and prompt. This is not a "hotel" in the same way that a Scandic or Radisson is. "Bodd her flere ganger, helt ok hytter. Restauranten serverer mat for de fleste, vi var veldig fornøyd. Veldig hyggelig ung dame i kassen. Frokosten kunne vært bedre, dumt å få vite, etter bestilling, at man kunne få egg og bacon. Mannen bestilte frokost og fikk altså tilbudet. Fruen hadde kjøpt frokost om hun visste at egg og bacon hørte med. Ellers ok opphold for ei natt."

"The property is very nice. The owner answered all the questions and texts. We wanted to start the sauna, but there was no English, he stopped by to start it. Although, it still didn't start and we didn't enjoy it, we would love to stop again and wonder in the forests eating berries. "This is a fabulous little gem of a place in the mountains of Norway. Rooms are clean and tidy. Common areas have fun touches like folk tale art on chair backs and other hand curated items. The hotel restaurant offers up wonderful food - including desserts made with local mountain berries and (if you are a meat eater) options like a reindeer burger with creamy cheese, both balancing flavors with the expert touch you might not expect from a hotel kitchen. Truly - if you stay at the Trolltun Hotel, plan to have dinner there. Your taste buds will thank you. "

"This apartment as advertised is really a fishing cabin. The cabin is in poor shape. The front door does not close completely. Paint is peeling off the front porch and picnic table. And the wooden fencing around the property has broken boards. There are also weeds growing through the stairs leading up to the front door.Inside the “cabin”, there were sheets for only one bed, no pillow cases, or covers for the comforters. There were towels however. The cabin has a musty smell to it. Lights over the kitchen counter did not work. And the breaker for the oven had to be turned off and on to get the oven to work. There was only one pot. A few more pots for cooking would be helpful. The light in the bathroom is too dim, and should be brighter.We did like the shower.In short the current advertising for the property is misleading. I would not have rented this property if I knew there would be all the deficiencies I have cited here."
