Douglas Provincial Park

We have stayed at the Saskatoon Inn a number of times and I would usually rate it higher than the 3 stars I gave it today. I had 2 main beefs this weekend… 1. There was a wedding booked in the hotel over the weekend when we were there. There was tons of noise in the hallway between 3-4 AM Friday night. Front desk staff had said there had been numerous complaints. 2. There were new Bowflex treadmills in the gym. They were nice but a huge pain to get going. There was a sign about using the guest log in but that didn’t work. We ended up having to set up a Bowflex account which took quite a bit of time. Then the treadmill worked great for the first time under that account but after that you needed to buy a subscription to get all the treadmill features- without the subscription the belt worked but it wouldn’t even display your speed or incline. The other minor complaint would be about the tons of dogs that were staying in the hotel. For some this is a plus but as I have allergies, it’s always a bit of a concern. Not sure if we can request a room that doesn’t ever have dogs. We’ll have to check about that

Food was good, rooms were nice and the staff were great.

The new Renos were very nice. Beds and pillows were comfy. The view was not the greatest, but everything else was great.
