Arrived at hotel early evening. Had problems from beginning i.e. trying to log in to pay for parking, enquiries re breakfast. Staff do not know anything about parking, restaurant and leisure facilities as they are all owned separately.
Have stayed here often over previous years but sadly it has gone downhill.
However, the room was clean, bed and bedding was very comfortable and bathroom/shower came with soap and toiletry sachets.
We didn't get breakfast as it didn't look worth paying £14. We won't be returning to what was once a wonderful hotel with great staff.

Staff was very friendly especially the young server in dining room very helpful
Breakfast was excellent as usual plenty of choice ladies at reception when we arrived very welcoming and cheery

I wouldn’t have had any issue with this if the provided fans were powerful enough to support cooling and air circulation. "The temperature in the room was unbearable and the bedding was so thick. The temperature was 28 degrees on the display and it wouldn’t go down. I spoke to reception but it didn’t change. Had the window open too. Hotel was nice otherwise."
