"As it turned out, my wife and I were unable to stay at the Captain's Cottage due to a severe weather front that was going through that part of New Jersey when we were scheduled to stay there. The weather was so severe that New Jersey was under a State of Emergency at the time and severe flooding was anticipated. Although we were unable to stay there, I wanted to say that the owner Bryan, was very communicative and kind during this critical time. He understood our concern and was very understanding and helpful . It was clear that his primary concern was our safety which we really appreciated. We had been really looking forward to our stay, so we plan to make a new reservation when the weather is a little more agreeable."

"Relaxing. This bungalow was a home away from home and my pet was so comfortable. Close to many locations with friendly neighbors and a small but welcome beach. Plenty of places to eat and shop. There was no compromise regarding the host and accommodations. Like a best kept secret this was a wonderful location."
