Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location with exceptional staff. Not all of the windows have fly screens and there were numerous wasps and other flying insects outside. Because of this I did not feel comfortable to have the windows open, even during the recent heat wave. Appreciate that air conditioning units cannot be fitted due to the age and character of the building but fly screens should be achievable. There was a fan in the room and this helped for me but even so, my laptop got very hot and would not charge. Later when moved to a cool location, it was fine. I would love to visit again but probably not during a heat wave.

We were there for a conference. The hotel was just perfect for our needs - comfortable room, especially with the AC. And the breakfast was lovely.

Great hotel! However, in August, with the hot weather, rooms were too hot, difficult to sleep in. Only a fan available. Check in closes at 9 and from then on there is a box, works well.

A very nice place, clean, simple room, everywhere well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Nice garden to have breakfast in and the hotel is in a good location, just outside the city centre (which means it's quiet in the evenings) but only 5-10 minutes' walk from the centre (depending how fast you walk). The location also affects the price, which was very reasonable. The only thing we would have liked to have - in view of the unusually high temperatures - was AC but other than that, wonderful!

Parking at this hotel is a bit tricky. The back lot filled up very quickly and there was no in/out availability after they closed the gate at midnight. Hotel itself was good. Had a fridge with cold Alsace water (complimentary) waiting for us after we check in. Staff was friendly. Room was a good size. We booked a deluxe room with 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. One of the twin beds was a pull out bed from the couch. It was fine but if the person sleeping on it was taller it would have been a bit of an issue.
