Rainforest Cow is a peaceful cottage in the countryside on the Dorrigo Plateau.
Its on a quiet road 2 minutes to Dorrigo National Park and 6 minutes to Dorrigo township.
It has spectacular views of farmland and rainforest clad mountains.
There is a queen bed in 1 room and a king bed that can be split into 2x king singles in the other.
You can stroll along the lane and walk to the National Park.
Guests staying here have a very low environmental footprint

Peaceful and tranquil very well set up easy access and if anyone's thinking about living off grid this is the place to experience it first hand. Loved the planting and the caring for the environment attitude, enjoyed seeing cows close up. Comfortable beds definitely will be staying again

Serene and beautiful cottage, moments from the National Park

We stayed three nights, my family of 4 and just loved it. The cottage itself is beautifully crafted and considered and looks out on to the stunning mountain backdrop. Moments from the National Park and a short 5 min drive to Dorrigo town, the cottage has everything you need. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back. Highly recommend this special place.

We absolutely loved the beautiful views of rolling hills and farms. So relaxing. Despite being off the grid, it had all the amenities, nothing was missing. Fireplace was amazing! Definitely coming back again.

Beautiful stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rainforest Cow. Communication with Craig was simple, fast and welcoming. Check in was easy just needing the key code. The view from the property is stunning. We were lucky to see sun, mist, rain and a storm over the coast during our time there. We listening to the cows aswell. If you are travelling to the Dorrigo National Park the entrace is basically at the end of the street. Its perfect. Everything in the cottage is so incredibly clean, modern and comfortable. The beds were so good and the warm mats on the floor were a nice touch. Fast wifi too if you need it. My partner needed to attend to online meetings during the stay so that was very helpful. Would very much recommend. Thanks Craig for sharing
