"This was one of the nicest and most well thought out rentals that I have ever stayed in. The hosts thought of everything, from stocking snacks and drinks, to having extra amenities and presetting the temperature for our arrival. We even had a hand written card welcoming us. "The staff was minimally friendly at best. Because the room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable, I could overlook the cig burns in the sheets and spread and the absence of a coffee pot, but I drew the line when there was no hot water available for showering. When I mentioned this to the front desk, she contradicted me and said “you just have to wait for it.” It never warmed up during my cold shower and other guests reported the same experience. There was also no coffee available at the front lobby, in fact guests were no allowed access except through the glass window approachable from the exterior only perhaps for safety reasons because the location is indeed sketchy. I would say “you get what you pay for,” but not in this case. Due to the lack of caring for the guests basic needs, we will certainly not be returning. Fortunately we only had to stay there for one night and we were only at this sub par motel because someone else traveling in our group booked the room. All being said, it was quiet and there were no safety issues while we were there. "

"Our stay at The Little Jxn Gem was so amazing! The check in was easy and the home was just as the listing described. The tiny home was so adorable, very clean, and just enough for us. The neighborhood was quiet and safe as well. The home even had an alarm system which added to the security and comfort of the home. The host was quick to respond for any questions that we had. We will definitely stay again at The Little Jxn Gem!"
