"Eureka is beautiful. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The think they need to look at. A stay there was not cheap. But as soon as everyone checked in (my thought on that) there is nobody at the desk and you're asked to to call one of their other buildings."

"The grounds are beautiful and in the lobby are beautiful reminds you of old Spanish building. The rooms need major updating. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows too. We found a few ants in bathroom. The did supply free car service to anyplace you were going which we liked. The bartender John at Monte’s was true gentleman. Made great drinks and gave us a history lesson about the place and montauk"

Pleasant View Inn

"We have been to the Pleasant View Inn in Westerly 3 times, now, and it never disappoints. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and the pool was warm and crystal clear. We had requested a bottle of champagne in our room the day of arrival to celebrate our 37th year anniversary and there it was chilling in the fridge with two glass champagne flutes as we asked. The free coffee in the lobby was delicious and a nice touch. We had an oceanview room (highly recommend) and had the glass door opened at night with the screen door in place so we could feel the cool breeze and hear the waves crashing against the shore. It was wonderful to sip our champagne or coffee on the 2 person balcony. Just beware that there is no elevator… so if you want the 3rd floor… know that you will have to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs. Otherwise, we highly recommend the Pleasant View in for a simple, beautiful spring, summer or fall escape. We will definitely be back… the Coleys"

"The Atlantic House is in the perfect location with amazing views, which is why we chose to stay there. The hotel needs updating. It’s generally clean, bedspreads don’t match the old curtains still hanging, pleather couch and chair in room. The beds were comfortable though. Front desk doesn’t have any toiletries if you forget to bring anything. We stayed on the first floor and could hear everything that was happening above us. The little patio was great and we appreciated the views. We knew we wouldn’t be in the hotel much so it was ok for our 2 night stay."

"Hotel Maria is a real gem- low-key beach front, impeccably clean with a wonderful Italian restaurant right there overlooking the beach. I happened to meet the owner and he was incredibly gracious and welcoming. The hotel staff were so accomodating to all that we needed. The breakfast & snacks and beverages they offer complimentary are a game changer and make the stay that much more relaxing. We loved the proximity to Mystic and chance to really decompress when you come back. (In the summer, make a reservation for dinner in the "Beach Club" upstairs dining room with a great higher view of the beach and ocean.) Our search is done- This will become our family place to go and could not recommend it more highly."
