Ground Floor: Open plan living space. Living area: TV, DVD Player, CD Player Dining area. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Ceramic Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer Bedroom: (4 Steps), Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Large garden with terrace and garden furniture. Tennis court on-site. Trout fishing by arrangement. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: There is a stream in the garden. The property has a natural water supply from a spring.. Formerly the village forge, this cosily renovated and well furnished holiday hideaway nestles in the sleepy village of Lower Wraxall. It adjoins another cottage and is set opposite the owners’ farmhouse, in a ½ acre of private, partly wooded garden leading down to a stream. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is an abundance of wildlife to be found locally; footpaths and bridleways, making it a perfect location for exploring deep into the Dorset countryside. There is good access across Eggardon Hill to the World Heritage coastline at Burton Bradstock or to the harbour and beaches of West Bay. Also within easy reach are Sherborne, Bridport, Yeovil and county town of Dorchester. Breakfast and evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement. Shop 1 mile. Free WiFi Catering for breakfast/evening meals available by prior arrangement with the owner. Please do not charge electric vehicle at the property without prior arrangement with the owner. We enjoyed the sounds of birds and the trickle of the stream running through the hamlet during our dinners on the outdoor terrace, and the owners are incredibly charming and helpful.
