It\`s great for when you want to forget your stress and bask in quiet woodland beauty. The house is only minutes from Cascade Lake. Picnicking and freshwater for swimming make it ideal for summer trips. If you visit in the wintertime, take advantage of the cabin\`s location and bring some snowmobiles along! You can bust them out near West Mountain, right near t The entire home is available for guests to use except the locked owner\`s closet. Summer activities include mountain biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, boating, jet skiing, horseback riding, zip line or bike at Tamarack Resort, enjoy a round of golf at one of the four courses in the valley and all the water sports you can imagine. In the winter, there is skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Tamarack Resort or at McCall\`s Brundage Ski Resort, sledding and beginner skiing at the Activity Barn near McCall, thousands of acres of snowmobiling, and your own private sledding hill right out the back yard. Year-round you can visit the nearby Gold Fork Hot Springs, explore the wooded surroundings (the front of the property boarders some beautiful state land), bike, hike or just relax in this luxurious cabin and enjoy the pool table, ping pong table, games, watch a movie or whip up something delicious in the gourmet kitchen. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee. Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed. Pets: If you would like to bring a pet, please send us a message before booking. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES). All pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets is determined by several factors. I.e. age, weight, breed, amount of shedding, and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized. Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property. Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately. Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking. Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture. Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities. BBQ\`s & Fire pits: Please note that where applicable, outdoor fire pits and BBQs are considered seasonal amenities and may not be available during the winter months due to weather conditions. Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage. Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads. Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee. Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for \`drain and fill.\` Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues. The post said there would be a bunk bed room, which there was not. Functionally this wasn't a big deal for our bed needs, but my autistic son was expecting to sleep in a bunk bed and it made for a rocky beginning. The setting was beautiful, but someone in the neighborhood was blasting loud music a lot. Not during the quiet hours, but it was still a little much and made being outside a little less pleasant. The hot tub however, was not running on arrival. A crew arrived to fix the hot tub a couple of days after we arrived, and once they left, the water was yellow and said needed a new filter. We left the next morning and we were never able to use it our entire stay. Very disappointed the hot tub was not working, this was one of the reasons we chose this house to stay in. The house itself was great, lots of space for us to hang out and a lovely dining room where we played lots of card games. The Wi-Fi was not strong however throughout the house and only worked in the front two rooms. A back bedroom had a tv with a Roku that we could never get to work since the WiFi didn’t reach back that far. Overall, the place was very nice and we would rent another house from this company, just not this particular location. ##### Jamie H. Plenty of room for our large group to sleep and stretch out. We especially liked the well stocked kitchen. It had all of the necessary pots pans and griddles to do all of our cooking. Plus it's only 10 to 15 minutes to Tamarack for skiing. ##### Nathan W. Perfect place to stay and see everything the area has to offer. Wonderful communication by the property manager as there was an issue with the hot tub and with some time was eventually fixes and we were able to enjoy that for one day. Even with the hiccup, I'd stay again. ##### Suede D. The large dining table was especially great for meals and playing games together. The only sub par comment I would have is the beds were not the most comfortable. Lots of wild life Cabin was nice. Yard was great. Carpet was stained a lot, felt kind of dirty. Master bed was very squeaky and loud, hard to sleep. Very private as well which was a nice change from our usual stay at a hotel. We requested/texted management a couple things and they responded very fast. Plenty of room for everyone, had a great time. I wish we would have known earlier that the primary heat source was the fireplace; baseboard heating wouldn't warm up past 60\.
