"We had a lovely time. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is just perfect. Especially the terrace was comfortable with the sunny days we were lucky enough to experience. The proximity to the Rewe in Kaltennordheim is very convenient. You can hike beautifully in the area right from the house....A lot has been thought about in the house, which makes it very pleasant. Only a good frying pan would be welcome ;-), but that is the only thing we missed. For the rest: just super!Many thanks!"

Die Einrichtung ist eine Mischung aus modern mit historisch restaurierten Möbeln. Sehr stimmig und stilvoll. Das hat uns sehr angesprochen. In der Wohnung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Leider hat das Sommerwetter gerade etwas Pause eingelegt, aber auch der große Tisch im Wohnzimmer bot Platz und Gemütlichkeit.Die Küche ist etwas eng und man muss sich viel bücken, aber anders war das in dem alten Haus vermutlich nicht machbar. "Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. A couple notes, not much English spoken here, or in town at all. People were extremely gracious and we didnt have any issues, but just be aware. Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access. We did not do this (our fault) and struggled to get ahold of the reception after hours with our US phones. Overall I would def stay here again if I was coming to the area."
