Gîte located 13 km from Sarlat, a medieval town with an exceptional heritage, in a very quiet but not isolated semi-wooded area about 2 km from the Dordogne. The house remains cool even in summer. Breathtaking views of the Bastide town of Domme and, further afield, the Château de Beynac.  
Close to the main tourist attractions of the Dordogne Valley: the châteaux of Castelnaud, Beynac, Montfort, Milandes (former home of Josephine Baker), Commarque, the Carsac-Aillac water garden, the panoramic garden of Limeuil, the gardens of Marqueyssac and Eyrignac, the village of La Roque-Gageac, the Domme caves, and Les Eyzies.  
35 km from Montignac-Lascaux and the International Centre for Cave Art.  
Outdoor activities (barge and hot-air balloon rides, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, and the Sarlat-Domme flying club for first flights or parachute jumps).
