The house is located in the Golden Triangle of the Dordogne Valley, including the villages of Domme, Castelnaud, La-Roque-Gageac and Beynac, classified among the most beautiful villages in France, medieval castles and major prehistoric sites including the Lascaux cave. Domme is a lively village with shops within walking distance: restaurants, stores, grocery store , bread depot and farmers' market on Thursdays.
