We visited in March so really appreciated the ready supply of wood for the log burner which kept us warm and cosy in the evenings. The gite is in a great location in the countryside but only a few minutes drive from Domfront which had everything we needed in terms of shops and restaurants. The location was great for day trips. We went to Bayeux to see the tapestry, to Fougeres to see the castle as well as to Mortains to walk up to the waterfalls. Paul and Jeannie were very helpful when we needed anything but left us to our own devices the rest of the time. They provided some lovely welcome treats on arrival and the fire was lit which made the place so warm and homely. It was beautifully clean and well equipped so we felt completely at home. We will certainly look to stay at Le Bas Chesnay again if we return to the area. ##### James F. Sehr nette und jederzeit hilfsbereite Vermieter, die uns mit einem Willkommenspaket (Getränke, Baguette, Käse etc.) überrascht haben. Absolute Empfehlung für Familien und alle, die einfach mal in Ruhe auf dem Land sein wollen.
