I loved Hotel Jewel and the restaurant and the staff were fab. I only gave it a 4 as there is no elevator and I was on the 3rd floor and the luggage elevator only worked till 2nd floor - so it was quite the hike up and down. Ask for a room lower down if you don't like stairs. Still would recommend.

Clean and conveniently located. The only drawback, no lift. The circular stairs were a bit much.

"Quite an impressive hotel. Very good breakfast and range of foods (excellent porridge) and calming, sedate atmosphere in the restaurant area.
