What can I say about this establishment that probably hasn’t been set already it is very top notch hassled in an old building in San Diego. It gives you the feeling of being at home. The rooms may be a little small, but they’re quaint. All my questions were answered in a polite and timely manner. There was no jumping through hoops, checking in ballet and checking out, was done with a breeze, if looking for a small hotel in a nice area away from the gaslamp District, the Sophia is when I highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Margaritaville SD Gaslamp Quarter. Very conveniently located in the middle of lots of walkable things, and the property is fantastic. A wonderful tropical oasis in the middle of the city! Everything was clean, Premium Spa room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable (the pillows are not firm enough for my preference but the mattress was great). We will definitely book here again when we are in San Diego. A side note for folks who want a quiet, out of the way hotel - this is across the street from Petco Park and in the middle of several bar areas so you can definitely hear the action going on outside. It did not bother us at all and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere but if someone is looking for a quiet, out of the way spot, this wouldn't be a fit.
