"Overall, our sta was great, except that our room had loads of pet hair on the carpet. Because we checked in later in the day and the blinds were closed, it wasn't noticable. But that next mornng when we opened the blinds, it was horrendous. Extra care needs to be taken to cleaning the roooms and the entire hotel when pets are allowed....or at a minimum, restrict those guests to certain rooms. Also, housekeeping needs to do better with maintining a daily schedule and returning to the places in the hallway where they have stacked dirty linens to retrieve them. there was the same dirty linen on the floor in the hall near our room for 2 nights. Aside from any of those things, the staff was pleasant and super helpful. The amenities were great as well, especially breakfast. We will stay here again but will be very secific before we arive.....clean our room with specific attention to pets."

"The room and public areas showed signs of age and poor maintenance BUT the view was awesome, the bed was super comfortable, the shower and bathroom fixtures worked perfectly and there was always plenty of hot or cold water. The mini-fridge/freezer and microwave worked perfectly as well. The location is nearly perfect for enjoying the nighttime entertainment. Ocean Resort is adjacent to the 24th street stage, 25th street performance space, and an easy walk to the 17th and 31st street venues. It’s right on the boardwalk/bike path with bike and surrey rentals and a gift shop. Steps to the beach. We saw dolphins, seagulls, and pelicans from our balcony."

"Everything was excellent except for a gentleman that worked at night. Asked him a question where the designated area for smoking outside was n was very rude. Also the king size bed was miserable Wasn’t comfortable n my pillows kept sliding between the bed n the wall headboard pushed mattress up n still didn’t help n we thought the mattress was too worn n sunk down"
