This was the second time staying at this location. First time it was a 5/5. This time around the furniture looked a little runned down but nothing to worry about. The biggest disappointment was looking forward to getting some rest and sleep after a long drive, only to find out the hotel was doing some renovations and the noise from the machinery kept waking me up. I’m not sure if I’ll be staying here in the future.

Our room smelled horribly. And its not spacious. Pulling the hideabed out left no room to walk. I would not recommend staying here. Not for the price i paid. OUCH!!!!

We had no Internet service and the TV in our room kept shutting off after a few minutes. Paid for services not provided. We will be staying in other hotels in the future. Staff mentioned internet was down for days—this is a national chain! Frustrating stay!

Foul smelling room
We had two rooms for the night instead of one because of a mistake had been made by the hotel. When we got into one of the rooms it smelled disgusting and realized it was coming from the garbage disposal. The whole room had a foul smell all the way from the entryway into the bathroom. We called the front desk to see what they could do and at first it didn't seem like they really want to help, but after speaking with them more they were convinced to go out and get us some disposal cleaners. It was us and not an employee who tried to use the cleaner on the disposal only to find out it wasn't working. The disposals in all the hotel rooms should be checked on a regular basis to make sure that they are all in working condition. One of the rooms we didn't end up having to pay for because of all the issues which was appreciated, however the stay was very disappointing and will never stay there again.

I can’t describe how disappointed I was with this stay. I had high expectations because of high ratings, and this was Marriott! The instant I walked into the hotel I regretted my decision. It was filthy and the lobby was small. There was some bad smell, and the floor was sticky. I would never stay here anymore. Do not be fooled by its fake high ratings!

Staff was great. Can tell there was some water damage on the ceilings and probably also the walls as there were a lot of patchy paint jobs. Had to go down to the front desk for things that were “supposed to be” in the room, like hand towels in the bathroom, etc. While having breakfast on our last day, one of the staff was pretty upset about 2 kids getting stuck in the elevator and they pushed the emergency button, lots of cursing occurred with other families around. If I return it’s due to price and convenience.

We arrived at our hotel, not knowing if we were staying one day or 4. The Mariott was so accommodating and willing to work with us. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our favorite part was the gathering place in which we were able to watch the Big 12 tournament. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We would certainly stay here again!

The Front Desk Staff were the BEST!!! As a family we were all from out of town there for a funeral, not the best of occasions any time of year let alone during the Holidays. We were without a place to "hang" for an hour prior to the service and the front desk staff graciously allowed our group to hang out in the lobby and visit during out wait. We had already checked out of our rooms that morning so there certainly wasn't any obligation on the Hotel's part to allow us in. True Hospitality by definition. I hope management recognizes the gems they have employed.

Do some maintenance to the property. First thing i noticed was big areas where the res paint was gone behind the receptionist. The front desk wasnt pleasing. It felt cheap. And the room that i stayed in for 5 hrs wasnt cheap.

What is described as a suite was a large room, crammed with a bed, couch and desk. Kitchenette in a hall as you enter the room. Will not use TownePlace Suites again when traveling. Also the breakfast selections were terrible.
