"We stayed for our honeymoon and honestly could not have been happier with the whole experience. The house is so cozy and comfortable. Waking up to the bay views was really great. Nicks cove and the Marshall store are both awesome places for food and drink and such a close drive. The cell service is non existent which was awesome just know to be prepared before you leave the house with directions to where you want to go. "This is a lovely home surrounded by trees. The deck and porch were a favorite spot to unwind after a day of adventure. We found this to be a wonderful basecamp as we explored the area. It's close to the coast, Occidental, and Sanoma/Napa Valley wineries. We skipped a day trip to San Fransico in favor of a day at Armstrong State Park. Highly recommend going to the park early for a restful walk on well-maintained trails. "

"We loved our anniversary stay at Hotel La Rose. It was like stepping back in time but in such a good way. The bed was so comfortable too. The elevator was down but walking up three flights was easy and allowed us to see the whole place. We did have a fire alarm in the morning go off (false alarm) but they apologized and said it had never happened before so it was just a little fluke. Anyway— we loved it."

"Highly recommend this hotel out of them all. It’s right in the center of Santa Rosa. Cute old courthouse building. Convenient for walking to restaurants and shopping. I loved the robes and slippers in the rooms! The parking was expensive but I used a Meyer and left before the meter maids patrolled. Down the street from a Starbucks and lots of bars and restaurants. Yummy Thai place across the street. Totally will be where I stay every time I’m in SR! Thanks!!"

"The cottage was very spacious, clean and comfy. We liked the close location to the beautiful beach. The price was very reasonable for the size and location. The drawbacks were there were no windows that opened for fresh air. There were patio doors, but we didn’t want little creatures entering, so only opened a crack. The downstairs where the two bedrooms were located, was a bit musty because of no fresh air. A dehumidifier might help this. We did like this hidden-away gem in a small community overall."

"Nice room, very helpful staff, location was great -- very close to all the things in Petaluma we wanted to do. Our 3rd-floor room looked out on the adjacent boat marina, which was lovely. We didn't take advantage of the hotel bar and on-site restaurant but we were glad they were there! Only a couple minuses -- TV in the room didn't work, ice machine missing from our floor, room a little expensive. But we had a great time and would recommend the hotel."
