we arrived late after crossing the border from the US. Expecting a rustic cabin, we were delighted by a complimentary upgrade to a suite. The Inn is a gem of a place nestled in the woods- a very nice place to wake up in after a long trip north. I would recommend this accommodation whole heartedly!

Beautiful property. Perfectly located for me just north of the US/Canada border. Personable and hospitable owner who made special accommodations for my breakfast so that I could proceed to the border early. If I were going through the area, I would stop there just for its beauty and peacefulness. It's a lovely inn.

Disappointing and not as advertised.
I chose this hotel to stay in because the Hotels.com description of it included things like the availability of a restaurant and breakfast. However, neither of these things were actually available when we turned up for a stay in December. The owner was away, and the lady in charge did as much as she could, offering to plate us up a couple of turkey dinners at a reasonable cost, as they were catering an outside event that night, and bringing us over a kettle and teabags as there were no facilities in the cabin to make a drink. Honestly this was more like a motel than a "Country Inn". On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the cabin was warm.
