This hotel is definitely not a 4-star property —more like 2.5 stars. The staff were great and the rooms were clean, but it’s definitely better advertised than it actually is. Also, one floor seemed to be used for long-term housing to immigrants, which made it unclear what type of place it really is.

I checked in on 4/26/26 ( Saturday ) my room was never cleaned until 5/2/26 ( Sunday) as I questioned the front desk why on 5/1 /26. I was told the “ apartment” is scheduled to be cleaned twice a week on Tuesday and Friday . First I was told 5/1 was public holiday, cleaning service was off. But I was cleaning lady was cleaning the room cross hallway from me and another leaning lady was cleaning a room in another section of the hallway. Another thing when I came back on 5/1 evening, my room light were on which I turned off when I left in the morning.

Very good property. The rooms are great. The location is exceptional. Maybe the only complaint is that breakfast was very crowded at 9:00 AM. That said, this would be my go to hotel in Hamburg every time.

"Nachttisch Lampen beide defekt. Tolittendeckel vergilbt hätte längst ausgetauscht werden müssen. Die Treppen sind zu steil für ältere Menschen,Ich selber hatte meine Probleme rauf und runter zukommen. Würde eine Parterre Wohnung nehmen wenn ich nochmal hinfahren würde.Für Hunde ist sehr schön.
