Loved the property, room and staff. The only thing about Canmore are the freight trains regularly passing by. The hotel has a stash of complimentary ear plugs which made the stay bearable.

This hotel is within the Banff National Park on the Bow River. There are mountains everywhere you look and a beautiful nature trail that takes you right into downtown Banff which is along the river. The hotel experience was wonderful in all ways - beautiful room, delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks, (we did the Gold experience which I would highly recommend) heated pools, restaurants, and morning yoga classes. The staff were exceptional also. We can’t wait to return!

Clean room, excellent location walking distance to downtown, hot tubs were great with beautiful views of the mountains. Front desk staff was helpful but not very friendly - when asking for more coffee I felt like I was putting them out. It would have been nice if the restaurant kept an open lounge area past 10 pm for guests to enjoy a late night drink. Over all, a great stay and will definitely return!

"If a guy is going to complain about anything it would just be that the restaurant was closed on Monday. I guess everybody needs a day off:-). Seriously though this property was pristine.
