"Sand and grit in floor upon arrival. Shower floor so slick you almost fell every time you moved taking a shower. Water would not stay in shower. Also the $ 20 /day fee charged to park that they add when you arrive and have already paid for your stay when making the reservation. Have stayed here many times over the years but will be looking elsewhere in the future. "

"We were traveling to Cherry Point for the airshow the next day. We booked this hotel given it was pretty close to the base when the show was to be held. When we arrived, we saw the C grade sanitation rating at the front desk. The issue was we had driven 3 hours out there and all the other hotels were booked. When we got to our room, it had clearly been heavily smoked in and it had a single king bed. We had requested a room with two double beds given our young kids were with us. The hotel staff were doing their best with what they had but this is definitely a "Last Resort" hotel."

"Staff is absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful at all hours! This hotel is very nice and smells amazing as soon as you walk in! Room was very clean. The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star is because the beds were so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep. My bones literally hurt because the beds were way too firm. If they had comfy beds I would 100% return. But can’t say I will now."

"2 minutes from water but failed to say “NO PUBLIC ACCESS”No bedside reading lamps in 2 bedrooms ..had to purchased plus bulbs 20Living room furniture was wore out several years agoHouse was very nice and accommodating Awesome air show at Cherry Point!!!"

"The outdoor space was fantastic for us. The fenced in yard let our pet have some freedom to go outside and explore without worry. Communication with the hosts was great. Unfortunately the internet was down which was inconvenient for sure. But, we enjoyed our stay very much. The pool table was a nice ammenity. Although my skills have diminished terribly...."
