"This place is like something out of a dream!!! The breakfasts were heavenly. Best scones and quiche I’ve ever had. The property itself was simply stunning. Garden waterfalls, fountains, flowers and lots of nature nearby the property. We cannot wait to come back."

"Great location for accessing all that West Lake, East Lake and Spirit Lake have to offer. Easy 5–10-minute drive to anywhere and anything you want to do in the area. Turn right out of the driveway and take your own millionaire home tour...incredible!Host Brian was super easy to work with, quick with responding to any communication. The house was stocked with plenty of towels and bedding and although the shower is small the water pressure is fantastic and there is definitely no lack for hot water. Most days all four of us were showing before dinner and we never ran out of hot water. My family definitely preferred this vrbo to a hotel, with a week-long stay it is just nice to be able to spread out and unwind together without feeling confined to a single room. If you are a boat owner, this area is for you...if you are a beach goer, not so much. Would recommend this host/location for any family coming to the Okoboji area!"
Lost in Boji Cottage off West Lake Okoboji

"This airbnb is located in a beautiful setting. We kept joking they had Bambi and it's family on payroll because they kept coming by every day. Our kids loved that. Overall the place is nice, but not sure it's worth the money and also would not recommend to a family with little kids (babies and toddlers). The main reason for that is that the house has 2 bathrooms with showers only, also with no detachable showerhead which made it extremely hard to give little kids (1 and 3 year olds) baths after fun at the lake. It was decently clean and the communication with the host was great (we reserved and paid for a pack & play that wasn't there when we arrived and they quickly brought it over which was highly appreciated). The first morning after our long trip these tired parents desperately needed coffee, but the house had no actual coffee maker even though it was listed in the amenities. We brought coffee and coffee filters just to find a Keurig, no complementary Keurig pods (which is fine, but we would expect for the we are paying that you provide a reusable K cup or just say "no coffee maker, bring your own K cups"). The entire house also has 1 dresser for clothes, no iron or a steamer, also no hangers for the clothes in any of the three bedrooms which was pretty frustrating as they listed hangers in the amenities.These may not be necessarily deal breaking things to some people, but definitely something to be aware of. There is room for improvements."

"Very nice. Everything was new and comfortable. Multiple areas for family gatherings. Well stocked kitchen appliances. Geese and deer visible outside the large picture windows all around the house. The host was very responsive to all our requests. Highly recommended."

"This property is in an ideal location with wonderful views and perfect lake access. Walking and biking paths are 2 minutes away. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the entire place, although dated, was immaculate. One thing to note is that the 2nd level has just one bathroom, that is only accessible by walking through the main bedroom. In addition there is no door to the main bedroom - it's completely open to the hallway and lower level. We had a foursome that wanted to play Mahjong late into the night - but couldn't because the noise disturbed the couple in the main bedroom. The property is architecturally unique with huge windows overlooking the lake, and a wonderful patio for meals and relaxing."
