"We stayed in this hotel for one night at the start of our three-week trip and received a very warm welcome. Jenny in particular was very accommodating and super warm! Our bed was decorated because we were on our honeymoon and we even got a small plate with cake and writing. All the other staff were also super friendly. We felt completely at home and can only recommend the hotel! We have since stayed in another (4-star) hotel in Hanoi, which was in no way comparable and not nearly as nice as the Royal Palace Hotel. "

My room when I first arrived had a slight smokey smell and they were so quick to address it I couldn’t have asked for better service. Location is great. The whole team are wonderful! "Our family spent a month in Vietnam and Cambodia and used Solaria Hotel as our base, and stayed here on 3 separate occasions. Incredible location with easy access to anything you want to do. The rooms were excellent, breakfast was delicious ( beef pho in particular), massages were lovely and more. We travel internationally a lot, and this hotel by far has the best staff we have ever met. They are generous with their suggestions and go out of their way to make your stay in Hanoi and yes Vietnam too as perfect as it can be. In particular Liam and Susan. Susan always had the best suggestions of things we should do. And Liam helped organize cars, tours and more as we navigated Vietnam. We would have been lost without him. His kindness was boundless. We can’t wait to return to Hanoi and stay at this amazing hotel again. "
