Tidemark backs on to the beautiful Diamond Beach, Ocean views at their finest

Two storey absolute beachfront home with timber floors, open living areas, and ocean views. This holiday home has everything for a fabulous holiday! It includes two living areas each with an LCD TV, DVD/CD/Video and stereo amplifier. There is a main balcony upstairs, a sheltered balcony downstairs and two other small balconies. Outdoor settings are included.

There are four bedrooms - the master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and ensuite with shower, toilet and vanity. The main bedroom downstairs also has a queen bed and the other two bedrooms each have two single beds. Additionally there is a double sofa bed in the winter room.

The downstairs three way bathroom includes a large spa bath and shower, separate vanity and separate toilet while the upstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity.

The fully equipped Caesarstone kitchen has European appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and a large fridge. The kitchenette downstairs has a microwave and bar fridge. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer and there is a small clothes line outside. In the courtyard there is a gas BBQ, surfboard racks and a heated outdoor shower, which is great after a swim.

Back of property faces ocean, there is beach entry from the enclosed yard - though it is through the sand dunes. This Beach is only patrolled during the summer holidays

Bedding includes 2 Queen beds, 4 Singles.

Eldest 85 youngest 74, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The amount of whales that went passed during the day was unbelievable. Great place to stay.

Amazing location - the beach is a hop and skip from the backyard! The place was perfect for me and the kids as it was a simple home and the property manager was so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommended and would stay again hopefully in the summer!

Fishing trip

Perfect house for our group. A few minor issues with garbage collection, no BBQ plate etc. But nothing that dampened our stay and management were very responsive. The house backs on to the beach with great views of the surf and just a short stroll along a private access. Great spot, would come again.

The house was very clean, the kitchen very well appointed. My only wish would be, swapping one of the single beds with a double. There is plenty of room in the downstairs bedroom where there are currently 2 singles. This would be perfect to accommodate older children or adults.

Great break away

The house itself is designed well and comfortable for a family of 6, however upon arrival we did come across some minor cleaning issues. Sand on the lounges, dirty utensils and filthy rangehood. Apart from this, we did have an enjoyable time at Tidemark. Thank you

Beautiful viewing lot of room

This house had the most amazing view of the ocean, whales, dolphins and more. The house was as described and easily fitted our two families. We were disappointed that the beach access was locked but once we contacted the property manager and an explanation was given we understood. Would recommend letting the tenant know before arriving in future. Our only concern was them changing the lock box code mid stay and not being able to access the house on return from an outing because we didn't have the new code. We found this quite strange that they did it mid stay but also didn't contact us to let us know.

March Stay

The house is situated in an excellent location, with direct access to the beach through the back fence. It offers ample space, but it requires a thorough cleaning. The primary reason for choosing this location was the view; however, upon reaching the top of the stairs, the view is obscured by dirty windows. Although we attempted to clean with spray and wipes, the entire house, including door tracks, windows, and balconies, needs a comprehensive cleaning.Additionally, the refrigerator barely kept items cold, and the door needed to be checked to ensure it was properly closed. The freezer did not freeze ice, which, although it may seem minor, is an issue considering the nightly rate. Overall, it is a great spot with a generous size, but it needs to be maintained better, and the refrigerator should be replaced..

The newly repolished floorboards upstairs looked fantastic and a new BBQ. Wonderful! There was a bit of an issue with the electrics due to some very heavy rain. An electrician was called promptly by the property management. Again, I would say I would love there to be a double bed in the downstairs bedroom to replace one of the single beds. Our children are now grown, and another double downstairs would be great.

Magnificant location and unique spacious property

This modern, well equipped, absolute beachfront property was ideal for our family of seven adults. With 3 bathrooms, 2 separate living/dining areas as well as a BBQ area with kitchenette it was perfect. The hot water outdoor shower was well used.

Perfect location

We have returned to this house several times over the years. It has a very comfortable openness to it, but The property was somewhat dirty. kitchen utensils some of them need to replace. Definitely highly recommended for short or long term stay.

Lovely stay

We were delighted with our stay at Diamond Beach. There were 7 of us with a few doing some WFH so we really appreciated the two living areas plus the winter room. The house was quite lovely and we spent a lot of time around the table on the upstairs balcony watching the ocean, surfers and visiting pods of dolphins. Some previous reviews mentioned cleanliness - we found the house in a very clean state and there were lots of condiments, tea, coffee, rubbish bags and washing up supplies in the cupboards. The local takeaway, pizza shop and bottlo are a short walk away and were good and the Foodworks at Blackhead is a short drive away and has everything. PROs The views and direct beach access from the house. Lifeguards and flags everyday we were there from 9am A great, big table for dining and games CONs Early checkout time of 9am Bins are too small for so many people, especially if the last lot filled the recycling bin. We had a wonderful week!

Reviewer Comments: This was the second time staying in this rental, the first was in June 2020. Since the first trip was a wild success we decided to head back.The checkin process was seamless, however upon entering the property it became quickly apparent that the quality of the upkeep and maintenance had declined significantly.The floors were grimy, there was rubbish on the ground and sand everywhere (including the lounge). I raised this with staff upon checkout, and whilst the stay was incredibly enjoyable, it was disappointing that the place seemed a bit dirty and unloved. The walls need a good clean, as do the beautiful high ceilings. It would have been nice for the windows to be cleaned given the view of beach, but given the latest weather it's understandable they would get dirty quickly.Overall i would definitely recommend booking this place as the location is incredible, the house is well stocked with the essentials, but it truly needs a team to come through and deep clean it properly.

Reviewer Comments: This property is a wonderful location.We booked this property in January 2021 from 2nd Jan to 9th 2022, this was all confirmed and deposit taken only to find out by the next payment receipt that our booking date had changed to 7th January to 14th January 2022, no one had contacted us to let us know.When we arrived the property still had sand on the floors and was not clean properlyAll the properties we have hired in the past came with bed linen this property we had to supply our own, which was ok but what they supplied was all stained.Bugs were in the bedroom downstairs and didn’t mater how much we spray they were there the next day.This place needs a really good clean.Overall great location
